The Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski is “hysterical” and “incapable of reasoning”, which prevents him from seeking a negotiated peace in the conflict with Russia, stated the Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov, on Sunday.

In turn, Dmitri Medvedev, Vice Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, rejoiced at Trump’s announcement, saying that in Kiev, “the rats will go mad and attack each other.”

“Zelensky is, of course, hysterical and it is unlikely that he will be able to take any rational action,” stated Dmitri Peskov on Russian state television, according to EFE, as reported by Agerpres.

“If Zelenski ‘were capable of taking prudent measures, he would now be inclined towards peace negotiations’ with Russia,” Peskov further stated.

The Kremlin’s spokesperson commented on the statements made a day earlier by American President Donald Trump, who urged Ukrainians to choose a new leader, as Zelenski is incapable of negotiating peace.

Medvedev: “That bloody clown only wants war”

In turn, the Vice President of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, known for his controversial remarks and one of the main representatives of the hardline faction in the Kremlin, wrote on his account on the Russian messaging app MAX that “Trump has finally been blunt: that bloody clown only wants war and needs to disappear as soon as possible.”

“What consequences will there be? Unfortunately, I think none. The wretch from Kiev will continue to ‘milk’ the degenerate Europeans to the end, sucking huge sums of money and new weapons“, Medvedev further stated, warning those who rejoiced at Trump’s statements that they should “take it easy, because only our boys (who are fighting in Ukraine), ballistic missiles and Geran drones will bring us closer to victory”.

However, he mentioned that Trump’s “peacekeeping outbreak” could also be useful: “The regime in Kiev has fallen into a state of stupor. During its collapse, the rats will go mad and attack each other.”
