President Nicuşor Dan is prepared to trigger early elections. This could happen if the designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu does not receive the Parliament’s vote.
Close sources to the leader from Cotroceni do not rule out, however, a new nomination. Nevertheless, some political voices claim that the information about new parliamentary elections would be just a scarecrow from the Romanian presidential administration, to help Niculescu.
On Thursday, the appointed Prime Minister Luca Niculescu will submit his government program and his cabinet list to Parliament, according to news.ro.
Luca Niculescu states, at the end of discussions with the formations, that all options remain in force: political government, hybrid – political and technical or technocrat.
