From the broadcasts of state television and official Kremlin publications, a fragment has disappeared in which the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, failed to clearly articulate a triple “hurrah” during a meeting with the military, noted the project Faridaily.
The moment took place on May 22. During a ceremony held at the Kremlin, Putin addressed the graduates of the propaganda program “The Time of Heroes”, through which veterans of the war in Ukraine are integrated into leadership structures, and urged them to support those on the front line.
“Let’s do as we have done before: in their honor and as a sign of support, at the count of three, let’s shout loudly, so they can hear us – three times ‘hurrah'”, said Putin.
Following his exhortation, those present rose and responded to the call. However, the Russian leader failed to clearly pronounce the word “hurrah”.
The moment quickly spread on social media and became the subject of mockery. Pro-war blogger Alex Parker commented: “As is the military operation, so is the ‘hurrah'”. In turn, the channel “When the cannons began to sing” mocked the situation, suggesting that Putin would have pronounced the word “strongly and energetically, like a leader”, but “the camera angle and microphone did not correctly reproduce the sound”.
