Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey signed a defense agreement on Friday. The document was agreed upon by the three states at a summit of their leaders.
The pact is called “The Mecca Common Defense Agreement”. The document lays the groundwork for collaboration between the signatory states, in the context of military actions in the Middle East.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has stated that an attack on any of the three states “will be considered an attack against all”, according to digi24.ro.

Last month, the Houthi rebels in the region announced a “maritime embargo” against Saudi Arabia and launched attacks on airports, oil facilities, and Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.
