Ukrainian forces have destroyed two Russian Sukhoi Su-34 fighter jets in recent hours at Marinovka airfield in Russia’s southern Volgograd region. They also struck Russian facilities used to launch drones and store petroleum products in the Bryansk region, EFE reports, as cited by Agerpres.

The two Russian Su-34 aircraft were destroyed by Neptune anti-ship cruise missiles, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Navy. Russia uses this type of aircraft to drop guided bombs, destroying fortified Ukrainian positions and striking towns and villages near the front line.

Regarding the targets struck in the Bryansk region, the Ukrainian General Staff said the strikes hit a facility used to store Geran drones and a runway used to launch unmanned aircraft.

Several drone control stations and two radar systems were also destroyed in the same Russian region, not far from the Ukrainian border.

According to the General Staff in Kyiv, Ukrainian forces also struck an oil and fuel depot in Bryansk.
