Images of young and attractive women, artificially created with the help of artificial intelligence, have been circulating on TikTok, intended to support the idea of the “Polexit” – Poland’s withdrawal from the European Union. Although the account that broadcasted these materials has been deleted, experts warn that the phenomenon of online disinformation continues and could escalate, writes Euronews.

Recently, AI-generated video clips have appeared on social networks in Poland, depicting seemingly real young women expressing support for “Polexit” and far-right ideas. The content was published by the TikTok profile “Prawilne Polki”, mainly targeting users between 15 and 25 years old.

Euronews shows that in these materials, the characters argued that leaving the EU is necessary for “sovereignty” and “freedom of choice”, even if it would involve economic losses.

    Indicators of artificial generation

Some clips seemed authentic, but others showed clear signs of using AI technology. The rigid facial expressions or desynchronization between voice and image were quite evident. “Looking closely, one can see that the movements and phrases do not seem natural. It is content produced with artificial intelligence tools,” said Aleksandra Wójtowicz, digital technology analyst at the Polish Institute for International Affairs.
