Europe is building a common missile defense shield, based on Ukraine’s war experience. The strategic plan, presented in Paris, aims at developing an integrated program to neutralize future ballistic threats.
The participating countries are Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Spain. Their leaders commit to creating a joint defense capability against ballistic missiles for Europe, according to IPN.
The initiative aims to create an integrated missile defense architecture, designed to deter and neutralize threats.
European leaders have acknowledged that the expertise gained by Kiev is vital, considering that ballistic missiles are much more difficult to neutralize than cruise missiles or drones.
