Vadim Krasnoselski boasts that he was decorated by Russian Patriarch Kirill. The head of the church in Moscow distinguished him with the Order of Prince Daniel of Moscow.

The leader of the self-proclaimed region in the Republic of Moldova conveyed that this gesture recognized his “modest merits,” writes Realitatea. The official from the Transnistrian region thanked Patriarch Kirill for the distinction.

“With particular emotion, I received today the distinction granted to me by the Russian Orthodox Church – the order of the blessed Daniel of Moscow. I thank his holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all of Russia for recognizing my modest achievements and God for the opportunity and joy of serving,” Krasnoselski affirms.

The separatist official further declares that he wishes “to do more to strengthen the Orthodox faith and the ties between the church and society.”
