Several Moldovan deputies are in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Among them are the socialists Igor Dodon and Bogdan Țîrdea, the leader of “Democracy at Home” Vasile Costiuc, and the parliamentarian of the Alternative bloc Olga Ursu. The meeting with the Moldova – Georgia friendship group was announced by the socialist Igor Dodon.

“We discussed cooperation and Georgia’s valuable experience in defending national interests, ensuring economic resilience, and preserving traditional values. I emphasized that this represents an example of consistent and pragmatic policy, oriented towards protecting sovereignty and developing the state,” the deputy announced on social networks.

According to the official, parliamentarians from the two states have agreed to strengthen contacts and develop cooperation on the parliamentary platform.

Igor Grosu told journalists that Igor Dodon first went to Russia, then left for Georgia, reports realitatea.md. According to the speaker, the initiative belongs to the leader of the PSRM, who informed him that there was an invitation, and the Parliament will not bear any expense.

According to the Parliament’s president, the PAS deputies did not honor the invitation, as some Georgian politicians made disrespectful statements about Moldova.

“I regretfully observe such a synergy between the Georgian dream and the Moldovan dream. I see that it attracts socialists, and Home Democracy, and the Alternative, to oligarchic regimes,” said Grosu.
