The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, was one of the most vocal opponents of the US and Israel’s attacks on Iran, describing them as reckless and illegal, notes hotnews.ro. Since the beginning of the war, Spain has not allowed US fighter jets or other American military aircraft to use the air bases at Rota (Cádiz) and Morón de la Frontera (Sevilla).
American President Donald Trump has threatened to sever trade relations with Spain, after Madrid did not allow the USA to use bases on Spanish territory.
